Emama once told me, “You must wait for all good things.” But sometimes, the wait can be extraordinarily long and then you just start to wonder how good is the thing that you are waiting so long for!?!

Well in the case of future episodes of the web series Habesha Life, the wait will be shorter than forever but a bit longer than the monthly intervals planned.

Why? O Why? The technical reason is editing, but broadly, as this show has been produced on a total budget of $0, it is reliant on the contributed time and effort of actors and production staff. This requires flexibility on time that we realize forces a slight delay in our release schedule.

But, that doesn’t mean you can be without the Habesha Life experience. The staff plans to ramp up our community efforts and encourages those who like to speak about issues raised in any of the Episodes or even other issues of interest to leave comments on HabeshaLife.com. The Facebook group, at 1,297 members and counting, will also be active.

Since the last episode, we have experienced an increasingly diverse viewership and plan to broaden this even further. Make sure to pass a link of the web series or embed to your friends and colleagues.

The show’s theme is also being made into a full-length song, featuring one East Africa’s newest sensation, Munit!

Thank you for your continued patience and support!!!!!!

Announcement from Filmmaker- “As it is has been much anticipated, I would like to apologize for the delay in releasing episode 2. Since I want to maintain the quality of the show and the magnitude of the film, I carefully work to keep the integrity of our reality. Please note aslo that it is my sole responsability to produce, write and edit the film, thus the need for a 3-4 weeks between espiodes, and in some cases 4-5 weeks. Furthermore, the length of film, as it is a short format( less than 30 mninutes), every episode length of time dictates the story so please be patient with us, episode 2 should be up in a few days. This show is developing organically. Thank you all for your patience”
