This was good. Especially for a pilot episode. Looks like you guys have the right people and I’m sure the chemistry will come the more they work together. A couple of pointers, I think the black and white has got to go. If you are trying to give the video a plain look, then go with making it desaturated not go all the way to black and white. It just sets a totally different film noir tone and i don’t think you want that kind of feel for this series. And another i don’t want to sound like an A-hole, but the part where the white(or hispanic) girl talks about making bullets expensive and stuff, that wasn’t Dave Chappelle, it’s Chris Rock that said it… All in all, it looks like a good start for something great…
Ps. I study cinema in college. so, if you want some help or if you guys are looking to add some more people to your crew, hit me up.

What a wonderful surprise! Thank you.
This reminds me of some video episodes I used to find enchanting on nerve.com and well i don’t know where else I’ve seen web episodes worth remembering, though I’m sure they’re out there. This is really a delight.
I especially like the pacing, and by God, please keep the B&W. Makes it enigmatic, emblematic of something that predates color, sort of like how film needed to find its better self by having to do with less first; And I like it that you don’t pack more dialogue than necessary; Makes it very striking.
No doubt this raises the bar! Bravo!

Way to Go, Ambessa! Very impressive work, although, there were some clips where the protagonist and “her boyfriend or hubby” sounded like they were reading the script live - “… Who?…Who is she?…” . This is probably very minor but may make a difference. Other than that, superb job! Keep up the good work!
Looking forward to the next episode(S).

Thumbs Up to a fellow artist and clearly a star in the making. Im so pleased that i stumbled upon this work of art and can’t wait to spread the word. I think you’re doing a great service to our Habesha Community by shedding light on what others may not want to believe as real life as a habesha in the diaspora. I Look forward to seeing more of your works.

I think you should display an eritrean woman with the authentic beauty we are recongnized for. I wasnt sure if she was black or? no offense but my people are more attractive than that

p.s. I disagree regarding the b&w comment….actually that’s what makes it interesting and original….you just don’t see it anymore!!1
Hope you didn’t take offense to my first comment regarding the girl. (just my opinion)

ughhhh……did he forget his line or….(the drink) he didn’t ask her what she wanted….I mean considering it was a full bar set up i saw….bit dissapointed in the acting….”what the h—l am i supposed to do”with a loud tone and looking straight at him (bartender) as if its his problem…

What ’s up bro, I see things are going good since you moved from Phoenix.
It was good for a first episode. ppl in it are a bit too calm, seems like they all just got done smoing weed or something. They need to feel what they are saying.
